How To UseHow to Take DigestFlow: Timing, Food and Duration
One DigestFlow capsule a day is the full label instruction.
Because each capsule has 138 mg of caffeine, a morning dose with food works well, with your other caffeine counted, for at least eight weeks.

What the bottle says, what it leaves to you, and how to run the trial so the answer is worth having.

Transcribed from the printed label artwork. Where this website and the bottle in your hand differ, the bottle governs.
Six lines, and only the first is an instruction about taking it. There is no timing, no with-or-without-food line, no loading period and no suggested duration. That is normal for this category and it is why the rest of this page exists.
Four decisions the DigestFlow label leaves to you
Four things the bottle leaves open, each with the reason behind the suggestion.
Morning, not afternoon
138 mg of caffeine has a half-life of roughly four to six hours in most adults, longer in some. A capsule taken at four in the afternoon is still partly with you at ten at night.
That matters twice over on a digestive product. Poor sleep is itself associated with worse gut symptoms, so a capsule that costs you an hour of sleep can move the very thing you are measuring in the wrong direction.
With food, not on an empty stomach
The label leaves this open and this desk suggests food anyway, for a specific reason rather than a general one. The USP review of green tea extract found that taking a concentrated extract while fasting substantially increases how much EGCG reaches the bloodstream, and the labelling requirement it produced reads: do not take on an empty stomach, take with food.
This capsule’s 58 mg of EGCG sits under the range where that literature begins, so this is a margin rather than a warning. Taking it with breakfast costs nothing and keeps the margin.
Count your other caffeine for the first week
Write down your coffee, tea and anything fizzy for seven days and add this capsule to the total. The FDA cites 400 mg a day for healthy adults as an amount not generally associated with negative effects, and EFSA reached the same figure with an additional note that single doses up to 200 mg raise no concern.
Most people are comfortably inside that with one capsule. The ones who are not tend to find out in the first three days, and they find out through sleep and jitters rather than through digestion.
Eight weeks, not two
The polyphenol routes on this panel work through the colon and the only human trial of that on any row here ran two weeks and measured stool rather than symptoms. The distributor’s own reported wait is 3–6 weeks.
The 60-day window, counted from the date of purchase, is set at roughly the right length for that. Two bottles is sixty days, which means the entry pack and the guarantee are the same span.
How to run a fair DigestFlow trial
Five habits that make the difference between a result and an impression.

A supplement trial run badly produces an answer nobody can use, and the commonest failure is not the product. It is that the person taking it cannot remember how things were before.
Pick one symptom, the one that made you buy it. Write it down each evening in a single word or on a scale of one to five. Do it for the week before you start as well, because a baseline collected afterwards is a memory rather than a record.
Change nothing else at the same time. Starting a fibre supplement, a new diet and a capsule in the same week guarantees that whatever happens, you will not know which one did it.
At four weeks, read the notes rather than trusting the impression. At eight weeks, decide. If the answer is no, the refund route is on the refund policy page and the clock started the day the parcel shipped.
- One capsule, once, in the morning, with food.
- Seven days of notes before you start, then one word a day.
- Nothing else new for the first month.
- Read the notes at four weeks. Decide at eight.
- The 60 days are counted from the date of purchase on your order email.
Common DigestFlow dosing mistakes
Four that come up repeatedly, each with what to do instead.
“I took two to speed it up”
The label’s caution line opens with “do not exceed recommended dose” and that is the reason. Two capsules is 276 mg of caffeine before anything you drink, which is where sleep and jitters start for most people, and nothing on this panel acts faster for being doubled.
“I stopped at ten days because nothing happened”
Predictable, and the single commonest way a trial of anything in this category gets wasted. Only the caffeine row is fast. Ten days is not a test of the other four.
“I take it at night so I do not forget”
Understandable and the worst available hour. Attach it to an existing morning habit instead, such as the first coffee, and count the two together.
“I doubled up after a missed day”
Do not. A missed day is a missed day; take the next one as usual. Doubling changes the only variable you are trying to hold steady.
DigestFlow dosing questions
Can I take it with coffee?
Yes, and many people will. Just count the two together: one capsule plus a large coffee is around 280 mg of caffeine, which is still inside the 400 mg a day figure the FDA cites but is most of it.
Does it matter whether I take it with food?
The label leaves it open. This desk suggests food, because the labelling guidance for concentrated green tea extract specifically advises against taking it on an empty stomach.
What if I miss a day?
Take the next one as usual. Do not double up.
How long should I give it?
Eight weeks. The 60-day window from shipping covers that, and two bottles is exactly sixty days.
Can I open the capsule?
There is no reason to and no instruction covering it. The shell is hypromellose and the contents are powdered extracts, which are bitter.
